I first had cue in my hands at 16 and started to play regularly when i was 18. Never had more time than 2-3 hours a day for practice, probably practicing even less than that nowadays because of less time available

If I had better position play there would be no such compilation of crazy shots :thumbup:

Yep, that 5 was gamble as hell  but on the new cloth I felt I had the chance to slide the 5 with soft shot along the rail while not scratching. If there was any obvious safety I wouldnt have played that shot but I just didnt see any easier option than this sucker...

Is Josh Filler the World's Best Pool Player?

There are two reasons for this - first Joshua handles the pressure of big competitions usually much better than the others because of his happy-go-lucky attitude, second the competition is tougher on average at Eurotour than at international events.

What is your high run in 14.1?

My PB is 165 which I ran in practice about year and half back. My plan for this year is to re-dedicate myself to 14-1 practice which I rarely did in last couple of years, my main goal for this year is to make 200+ run;)

2019 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

During my second 14.1 practice this year i ran 99. After the break the cueball stayed in the cluster and after 10 mins of looking for any way to continue i rattled 5 balls combo..

Stroke! Wonder How to get their fantastic Strokes?

Well I can asure you that even at age of 41 I am very much aware of the fact that the ability to practice long hours (and to compete at the high level) goes away with the time so I dedicated myself recently to improving my fitness level to turn back the time a little. And I am amazed what 2...

Stroke! Wonder How to get their fantastic Strokes?

Short answer: no, we dont "all admit there are God given strokes and most of us have second rate strokes". Long answer: if you have a GOOD INSTRUCTOR (this one is really important part) and willingness to work hard almost anyone can get to the point where fundamentals are not what is holding...

Watching mr. 400 trying to break the record

Or maybe eventually not, the more tired John is the less chance of hiting the homerun he has. But still...he has that chance as long as he is trying and like I said I root for John ;)

Watching mr. 400 trying to break the record

While John is amazing 14-1 player and I root for him I dont think he will break the record. I even told John about his weakness a year ago - fitness level. He has to improve it a lot to actually stand a real chance of beating the record, his body and mind just dont have enough stamina to break...

Earl imploding in the World Pool Masrers

Well it was you who used the phrase "when you're the best out there" . And Earl was THE best player for many years. Had he spent his earnings more wisely he wouldnt be a bitter man he is now...

Earl imploding in the World Pool Masrers

I dont think thats true, the very top players earn definitely enough for comfortable living, just ask SVB about his financial management. ;) It is the lavish spending that kills the purse for such guys. And we dont have to talk about pool players, according to a 2009 Sports Illustrated article...
