    New Shaft

Play with the shaft for a bit with whatever tip it comes with using your own unique playing style. Observe what is happening with your eyes, ears & hands. Then and only then can you figure out what direction to go with a new tip. The only opinion that matters is yours.

Who says barbox 8-ball is harder than 9-foot?

Skogstokig I am going to be critical of you for second - sorry. You said it yourself he kind of does walk the walk. Poolmanis is a damn good player that is of no doubt & not being questioned. He boasted about beating a f'ng simulation for Christ's sake. I want to see his game speak for...

Who says barbox 8-ball is harder than 9-foot?

Damn hot in Vegas during the summer as well, but players flock there for VNEA Internationals, APA World Pool Championships etc. If anyone is going to a tournament venue for the weather, imo they are there for very much the wrong reasons. It's very warm or nice & cool inside take your pick.

Who says barbox 8-ball is harder than 9-foot?

Of course I have watched his videos a bit. Having said, I love to play the game not watch the game. Same goes for me with golf. Wether he can play or not isn't the question at hand. Playing by yourself against the ghost imo doesn't mean much. There is no money at stake, there is not a...

Who says barbox 8-ball is harder than 9-foot?

I particularly enjoyed this part. I guess humility is not your strong suit either. The strongest players on this site in my eyes are the ones who don't talk the talk, but they still walk the walk. If you have to tell everyone how good you are, then just how good can you be? Look up a quote...

    Am I weird?

Weird or not is probably not for me to say. I do believe that anyone that switches cues all the time will never get the most out of their game. Even if is just switching between two different cues. If that is okay with the indidual, then far be it from me to say any different.

    Diveney or PFD?

Diveney with Maple LD Shafts. I like the feedback & the shafts do have nice low deflection properties. Why? Because I have owned / used Pat's cues & have no experience with PFD.

Break Cue - Jump Cue...technique % vs Cue Properties

Make sure the spot is in the right place & the rack is straight. No cue or technique is going to save you if the above isn't squared away first.

Fargo Caps = The dumbing down of pool

If there are enough entrants in a tournament to put the participants into proper divisions a cap isn't necessary at all. Having said imo Fargo Ratings are absolutely useless if they aren't used or TD's do not report match results.
