Mark is right. The right English on your cue ball is what seals the deal on that shot. Can it still miss? Of course. For an even higher percentage shot, use some speed.

The shot in post # 2 is possible, but it is highly difficult. I would never try it unless there was absolutely nothing else. Post # 6 is a different version of the same shot, and it is even more complicated! I would bet you would make about 1 out of every 10 or 20 attempts. Not good odds.
