    WTB maintenance arbor 3/8-14

That's the set I bought, I think. The link posted is dead but it was a set of 10 drivers (I think) for about $210.00. I'll confirm by checking my PayPal invoices. These are outstanding drivers, very accurate. I haven't had a CueTec in my shop since I bought them so I wasn't sure if I had a...

Apa tournament.. Do I have the right to be a little pissed?

LO must not have felt too terrible. All he had to do was remind you to mark innings when he was looking at your score sheet. Sounds like you might play in the same area as I do.

my experience with apa in tunica

After having quit the APA for about 10 years, I decided to play on my wife's team on a part time basis. Payed my $35.00 and sat out the first night. The next week, the LO raised two players on the team meaning I couldn't play without breaking the 23 rule. On the plus side, the APA made a quick...

my experience with apa in tunica

I was raised from a 7 to an 8 in the semi finals of the Singles Regionals after eking out a couple of wins. Nobody noticed until I had reached 55 and thought I had won. Ended up winning the match by one point but got slammed in the finals by a 9. IMO, no handicaps should be adjusted in post...

Travelling (by Plane) with Cues? Do/Must you check in?

Next time I go Vegas, I'm shipping my cues to the hotel ahead of time. Airlines ruined my favorite putter and refused to pay anything. They're idiots.

    Moori vs Kamui

The problem I have with the Triangle's and LePro's is the lack of consistency and quality control. I'm lucky if I get 10-15 good tips out of a box of 50. And it's no fun to install 2-3 tips just to have to cut them off and start over. I will admit though that the good LePro's are great tips. I...

    Moori vs Kamui

I've installed hundreds of Moori's. When installing, I'm very careful to use a sharp blade when trimming the tip to match the ferrule. I always burnish the sides if the tip. I generally have to do a slight trim after 2-3 weeks of play to remove the mushrooming. After that, no more mushrooming...

    Moori vs Kamui

I've been playing with a Kamui Black SS for several months but decided last night to install a Moori Medium. Prior to the Kamui, I had played with Moori's consistently since the Moori III was introduced. I had forgotten how much I like the hit and consistency of the Moori. Yes, I'll have to...

Why Pool is devastated by the new Smoking Laws.

I don't understand the militant mentality of many smokers. Their knee jerk answer is always "If you don't like smoking, don't go to pool rooms". I'm not asking anyone to quit smoking. Just show common courtesy to those of us who are bothered by the smoke or for health reasons, have no choice...

How to true up 3 jaw chuck

I've found that I can get it pretty accurate by turning the jaws 1/3 of a turn until it spins true. But it's definitely time for a good cleaning. That's next.
