Do some shafts produce more spin draw and follow

Tip, Shaft, and the combination of the 2..... Treating the impact of the tip and ball as a solid impact is flawed.. As is saying the contact time is too short for for anything to be done by the player because the ball is already gone.. Maybe not in reaction but that's why we practice. To...

    My Thoughts On Kamui Chalk

Umm wait? I think you just agreed that some chalks are better than others as far as abrasive performance... That's true for all the premiums... What matters after the performance is really personal preference.. Why would you think that grip performance suddenly doesn't matter on your playing...

    My Thoughts On Kamui Chalk

Sorry Matt... There is a difference between premium chalks and Master/Silver Cup/Pioneer... If you go 2 shots between chalking you are pushing the possibilities further. Maybe 7-8 shots will make you understand... Dr Dave said if you chalk every shot... He didn't bother to look into the chalk...

    My Thoughts On Kamui Chalk

Give me the name for the room and I will send Blue Mako samples to the owners and I guarantee that it will not be banned... Even in many rooms where Kamui is banned we are not treated the same even in the original white... There is actually a room in SC where you have 2 options... Orange...

    My Thoughts On Kamui Chalk

We released the Blue Mako around the US Open and it blends in to where it no longer draws your eye to the transfer... We also have ugraded molds 2x since the Expo so the flaking is history.... We went with the light blue color formula so that it stayed cleaner than many of the darker blues...

    Accu-Rack or Magic Rack?

The rules you stated were in regards to what a player cannot do... The template becomes part of the table/equipment when in place so it's altering of the ball path is not different than when the rail alters the path or a collision with another ball does or even when the ball rolls over a piece...

    Accu-Rack or Magic Rack?

Actually easier is arguable if the 9ball or 10ball is on the spot... See the AtLarge posts on break stats.... As far as it effecting slow rollers all of the pro players understand that it will be a random outcome and as such the gains in having no racking wars and everyone getting fair racks...

    Accu-Rack or Magic Rack?

Actually fast I agree with you if the conditions allow it to work... I would much rather use a delta13 on new cloth with new balls and be allowed to rack for myself... Was the way we all grew up... The one big thing I don't think we talked about was the fact that in rack your own events...

Paging Joe Tucker!!!! 10ball on the spot......

I have a delta 13 and Magic Rack as well... I will enlist some of the better players to help out when I can get back to the room... Joe responded on Facebook and I'd say he may be along here in a day or 2.. He may be the busiest person I know with promoting the AMRO and having a wife and...

    Accu-Rack or Magic Rack?

Actually I just found this on a search.... The Sardo only worked if you tapped the table.. That's why it died a fast death... As far as Accu-Rack vs tragic wreck... This is NOT the Magic Rack or even one of the Asian Racks like the Turtle Rack... We own the intellectual property because WE...

Upgrade to "10ball hurting" thread ! (it got side tracked)

Welcome back Dick  Seems you are as argumentative as ever but you seem a little more laid back about it.. I like the change and hope it means you are feeling good and enjoying life sir... Happy New Year to you and yours!!!!

Paging Joe Tucker!!!! 10ball on the spot......

AtLarge asked what would happen IF we put the 10ball on the spot? Granted I cannot generate the power of the pro players.. The grey in my beard has taken some speed of the break but I can hit the 10ball break "Right" as in banking the ball next to the wing straight back while playing the...

    The ZAN Premier tip???

The Zan is my 2nd choice because it also holds up longer than normal.. Initial Hardness wise the soft and medium G2 were harder but both had a similar Hardness/COR ratio. The G2 did have the better ratio but not by much.. The Zan did not burnish up as nicely and I could see the layers thru the...

    The ZAN Premier tip???

Currently my preference is the G2... They are a treated leather, have a nice elasticity to them and stay a soft or medium longer than most of the competition. They also seem to keep from glazing for longer periods... Some layereds begin to change hardness fast enough that you can actually tell...

10-ball may be hurting pool in America

Will try it tomorrow with the same Pro 10 Accu-Rack we used in Jersey and post the video.... Based on the spots on the table that we white from the wing balls hitting the same area I think the wings won't be dead and the balls behind the 1 should go high so you MIGHT have to hit the break...

    The ZAN Premier tip???

OK you got me.... oh well it was late and I swapped boar with hog... Boars run wild and hogs usually refer to LARGE pigs... However pig is usually used to refer to the domesticated version. If you want to split hairs boars can also refer to uncircumcised male pigs... As a non pig breeder all...

    The ZAN Premier tip???

Pigs are domesticated and Hogs run wild... The Japanese pig is actually a breed that was developed by breeding local Japanese stock with the Berkshire pig from England which created a larger breed than was found in Japan prior..... The skin is very tight grained and has a very high...

    The ZAN Premier tip???

The Zan is currently my 2nd favorite layered tip on the market.. The dye process and chemical process seem to make them a little more porous than many layered tips I have tested but they do test high in COR and hold up a little longer before they start to harden up... Alex Pagulayan was...

Get rid of jump cues for Mosconi Cup

The smartest promoter for cue sports is Barry Hearn... While lots of you think you are smarter than Barton I can guarantee that while you may or not be smarter than John,( I am betting not based on bodies of work), you are not smarter than Barry... Regardless of what you make in other...
