BCA League Payouts (and operations) - Is this normal???

5 players per team....18 teams....90 players total more or less....he makes 477.50 a week. I wouldn't put up with the complainers either. In fact I would not do the job for less than a thousand a week.

The pre-flag is the same as the flagged, but the new wrapping paper with the flags has less deflection.

Just got home bump, and still trying to let it sink in...... A lot of people don't realize just how much he contributed to the players, the sport. When the cue biz hit a peak, he gave a ton back, maybe 2 tons....hell...he gave back tons of tons. If the powers that be should happen upon this...

    Wtb huebler fibre ferrule

The early McD cues used a cotton based fiber ferrule which would swell up and separate from the shaft face if they got wet or really hot. The Huebler ferrules were similar, but he used a linen based fiber which did not react as bad. Both were used with large tenons and were not so thick walled...

    James D. McDermott---RIP

It is with great regret and sadness that the very first thread I have started on this site was to report the death of cuemaker Jim McDermott. It was only a week ago I was in Wisconsin to attend the funeral of his wife Marilyn. He is now joining her once again.

McDermott SUPER MAC case mint condition

You have been misinformed about the Super Mac thing. The very first cases that McD produced had Super Mac engraved on the lid. They did not have the Fellini style lock either. This would be considered a Super Mac case. The extra long cases were an option with an additional section for...

Why so much hate for McDermott cues?

Nothing to worry about whatsoever. You can certainly buy a more expensive cue, but you cannot buy a better cue than a McD.

    LTF/WTB McDermott Founder's Cue CS 1

The cue on Ebay has been relisted with a 600 dollar buy it now price. A true bargain. I have several and it would take at least twice that much to get me to part with one.

    House due recommendation

Ditto on the McDermott Lucky house cues. But for just a few bucks more, you can get the McD Lucky 1,2,3,4,and 5. Decent 2 piece cues in 5 different colors.

    Realistic looking imitation Ivory?

Ages ago, a man wheeled a cart full of rounds, flats, various other shapes of some cool looking white stuff into the BCA trade show. Bob Meucci captured the pile I believe and it was never on the market again.

    Tournament registration etiquette. Your thoughts?

For my local events I will accept call ins, however, once a player no shows, he is no longer allowed to call in, EVER. For my national events, NO ONE IS PUT ON THE LIST UNTIL THEIR ENTRY FEE IS PAID.
