    Removing shaft coating

I had the same "coating" on my Fury J/B as well...I got it from Seybert's if anyone is wondering. Anyway, I took some 600 grit sandpaper after it and that pretty much took care of things. The coating is actually thicker than you'd think, though, so you have to go after it pretty good to get it...

Tony Stewart Ring Side at DCC

Nostroke, When you are logging in, make sure you click on the login button with your mouse and do not hit enter. I had a similar problem and this seemed to take care of it. FOr some reason, hitting enter takes you to the catalogue page and clicking login takes you to the DCC live coverage...

    BCN Update 3:00 match

RE: Login Problems For those of you having login problems, make sure you click the login button after putting in your email/password instead of just hitting enter. I don't know if that's what any of you are doing or not, but I know that If I don't actually click the button it takes me to the...

    WTB: Jacoby shaft 5/16x14

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a 5/16x14 Jacoby shaft to use as a spare/backup. I currently have a joss shaft as a backup and it works fine, but even though the pin is the same, the joint is piloted differently and therefore the Joss shaft does not fit as securely as I'd like. The Jacoby...

    Pool Books

If you're looking for good stories and such, the books above are very entertaining reads. I would especially recommend Grady's book and "the Green Felt Jungle" for good road stories. Another that hasn't been mentioned is "Cornbread Red", which I also thought was very entertaining.

DCC FYI for those that can't go

Does anybody know what happened with the '05 US open and billiardclub.net? Personally, I don't think I'd purchase another PPV from them after losing access to all of the 2005 US open matches unless I got a pretty good explanation/excuse. Dustin

    Titlist Conversions

Wow, those are some gorgeous cues. Thanks so much for posting all of these. I have to say I'm especially fond of the Shorty's Schick, the Ebony James White, the purpleheart Mottey, and the Gina...although they are all very nice.

    Books

Thank you for the quick replies. Grady, I looked at your site and clicked on the link for the book. IT took me to http://www.poolbilliards.com/ , which seemed like a random advertising site that I couldn't find any information about your book on. Looking below, I saw an address to send...

    Books

Hey Everyone, Longtime lurker, first post. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knew where/if I could find copies of Buddy Hall's or Grady Matthews' books. If I'm not mistaken, Buddy's is out of print. I'm not really sure about Grady's, however. I've read Playing off the Rail, The Green Felt...
