I consulted my maple shaft and discovered that it identifies as carbon fiber.

I guess I'm just curious. But no, I guess I've not got a big incentive to switch from old school maple.

I live in the stone age, having never even played with a low deflection shaft. Been playing since the late 90's. I wonder how someone like me would adjust to the carbon fiber sitch?

I'll second the value of the Last 4 Ever Tip Tool...those are the two tools I use as well.

It's one of the reasons I install my own tips. I got the willard tip tool years ago and that was the end of that.

I've been playing since the late 90's, so I've seen and played a fair share of pool and have seen this and that throughout the years. I shot one ball one time just shooting, not breaking and the tip just flew right off the end of the cue and ended up on the floor somewhere. Oddest thing that...

Just do a DCC thang...but all in one set. Race to whatever, but mix it up with banks, onepocket, then 9 ball each. Crazy huh? Actually kinda sounds fun now that I think more about it...
