I have Put tips on Talisman before - dont think I have played with one though. The old tip is not layered (I inspected the other shaft I have that has his old tip). I know it sounds strange but it feels harder than water buffalo. Maybe I just get a bad WB.

Does anybody know with certainty what tips Nubs used? I recently retipped one of his shafts with a water buffulo and have lost the elusive hit it had (the hit was really stiff with a lot of feedback). Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks I know the one that was on there wasnt a Lepro - maybe it was a Talisman. It was a really hard hit before - immediate feedback - and sound. I really want to find out what it was (I still have a second shaft with the same tip on it).
