    Why leave off a ring?

It has to do with a cuemaker's personal preference, a customer's personal preference, design, construction techniques, etc.

Fitz Cue - Purpleheart/Asian Satinwood wrapless

I will have to measure it for exact specs, but it is 59", a little above 19oz I believe, and is right around 12.75mm with a stiffer taper. Thanks for the comments!

Fitz Cue - Purpleheart/Asian Satinwood wrapless

I finished up a wrapless purpleheart cue for a customer about three months ago, but unfortunately....it has not been picked up. It has a Purpleheart forearm & butt sleeve with an Asian Satinwood handle. The joint, hoppe ring, and ferrules are buckhorn. I plan on putting it in the wanted/for...

Guess who made this cue and win $5 no strings attached!

It does have similar characteristics to the Heubler AS-1, but an early variation of the Meucci MO-1 or 84-1 is the best guess I have, so I guess it could be one of the early Bob Meucci Custom cues.

Alright, I have used BobCAD V23 and Mach 3 to do all the CNC work I've done so far. That happened to be on a friend's cnc machine though. I now am getting my cnc set up finally and I have V21. So I guess my question is....how much different is V21? I have it licensed and running, but it just...

    Question about eye glasses

I knew a guy that had to wear glasses while he played. He took a pair of his normal glasses and had the optometrist adjust the bridge by making it longer so the glasses were raised up high enough to use while shooting pool. It looked a little weird since it was a little out of the ordinary...

    My first pointed cue

Larry has several lathes that he uses for different aspects of cuemaking. That is also a '65 mustang fastback in the background. That is a 6-point cue and the high points are all even and the short points are all even! Larry did a great job with this cue and I know it will be a great player...
