Correct... and as for the question as to would I use the black layer of the Caiden as the marker to change it... Probably so, but honestly, it would depend on how it played at that stage. When you reach the black layer, you still have 3 layers of tip left. Personally, I don't like "tall"...

You are correct... poor wording on my part. I used a black acrylic "pad" to mount the Caiden tip to... I did not bore down into the ferrule, etc, and install a "true" impact plate.
