BUYER BEWARE-CASTLE CUSTOM CUE ON EBAY

I have a lot of empathy for cue makers selling too early. We have to recoup some of our money to afford more wood and hardware somehow. It’s a tough hobby to grow into let alone turn into a business and profit from. With that said he should have disclosed condition and level of skills and...

    Yahoo.....COVID Vaccinations Are Gaining Steam........Alleluia!

I don’t have all day but after looking over 200 of your most recent posts this is the first one outside of the NPR and politics. In the last 400 posts this is the only one I could find of yours in the main. So please keep pretending that you care about this forum beyond using it as a platform...

    Yahoo.....COVID Vaccinations Are Gaining Steam........Alleluia!

This thread is a good example of why this forums participation continues to dwindle. OP makes a generally positive post about getting back to playing pool and it took no time for the political npr shit starters to try and ruin his good mood.

    Brunswick Liberty cues

I just cut something like this off a cue recently but the cue didn’t have veneers. It was butterfly splice like an old house cue style. The butt was split up pretty good and not salvageable. What are those decals original to?

    Jeanette Lee

Really sad news. As I understand she’s had a lot of surgeries already. Hopefully they can shrink it enough for them to get it down to an area they can fully remove.

To my eyes it shows up on TV better. Contrast with the balls etc

Adhesive spray location, for the cloth.

Under the rail and on the edge. Cut off on the bottom of the slate. As you described in the first part of your post. For me it makes it easier to stretch when I can tack it down on the top side of the slate. Especially working in corners. I can gather towards the middle of the pocket and press...

Exclusive Exposure for New Cue Makers

There’s a lot of content on Instagram. I find it tougher to find things but if you put in the time you’ll stumble across good work there.

I wonder what it sold for.

If you have more than one playing cue, do you alternate? or how do you choose.

I used mix it up regularly but found that if I spend longer periods of time with cues, like a month, I tend to bond better with them. That way when I do switch it doesn’t feel like a fresh cue. It’s like revisiting a familiar face.

Maybe he inadvertently gave you red? I don’t know the post in question. I mean... we have words. Why not contact him and ask? I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with him. He’s a solid guy. Second chances?

    Position markers for practice

This happened to my father in laws table. In his case heat and humidity made it worse. We started taking them off after each day. No issues since.

Help with date of manufacturing Ebony Hoppe Cue

Great cue. I’ve been looking for an ebony for some time. I admit that I’d be one tempted to convert. I’ve got rough rosewood one on my bench that is going to be more work than I really want to put into it so I’ve put it off.
