Seems like it’s one of those cues that’s easy to justify moving on from in the moment but you’d regret later. I say keep it.

That used to not be the case. But in my opinion allowing it here has lead to it permeating the whole forum and people have just vacated. In hindsight allowing it didn’t protect anything.

Hightower has some basic setups that aren’t terribly expensive. Have you looked there? A small metal lathe from harbor freight would be a cheap consideration.

I’m not an expert so hopefully others can chime in but I think this falls in the 300-500 range.
