    Ralf Souquet - WOW

Thanks Juega. So he won back in 1996. I bet he would like to win again. And he should. On his break, it was apparent that his goal was to get the cue back up table to play the one, that is the one and the cue were ending up close near where he was breaking. In fact, in every break the one...

    Ralf Souquet - WOW

To me Ralph plays the game the way it ought to be played. He is deliberate, but I don't think he is super-slow. He does not take shots for granted, he plays superb position. I wish the American players played the way Ralph does. It shows a lot of respect for the game. In terms of emotion, I...

    BUSTA vs SVB at 1AM

I am not a computer geek, but I got this to work pretty well. I've got a portable that has a wireless internet communication from my desktop which has a DSL connection. This wireless communication was good enough. I had to work for over an hour to get the laptop to project the image to the...

Part 2: Pics of Philippines vs The World

Congratulations to Charlie. He is the biggest promoter of pool, which we should all appreciate, and also he has had a great 2008, beating many of the best.

TAR and its future...(dosent look good IMO)

It's funny, it has never occurred to me that TAR doesn't have great video. It seems great to me when I'm watching it. But the greatest thing about TAR, the incomparable thing, is the commentary, or rather the banter. The attraction of pool to me is the pool world. And with TAR, you are in...

    Gradys For Sale ?

It would be a shame, but it wouldn't suprise me. Grady has done all you can do, he has a great building and great tables. But it's tough out there.

US Open May Provide Strongest Final Four Ever!

I'm pulling for Ronnie Alcano. He is my man even though I wasn't born in his country.

    Chohan

After he lost twice to Justin Bergman playing 10-ball on TAR, TAR said (jokingly of course) that he was the only guy who plays 1-pocket like God and 10-ball like an APA 4. But that was 10-ball - maybe that explains it.

    Chohan

For an APA 4, Chohan plays pretty sporty. Three hill-hill matches in a row: 11:10 over Chamat; 11:10 over Charlie Williams; and 11:10 over Petri Makkonen. Who is Petri Makkonen, by the way?

You are right on! Soquet is killing them on the loser's side.

    Us Open

Of the ones I haven't heard of, a good many have foreign-sounding names, and some of the others are guys that I apparently should have heard of, like Mike Badsteubner or David Howard or Ben Zimmer. I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but to me the field is crazy strong.

Ramil Gallego - US Open draw

Interesting draw for Ramil Gallego. He defeated tough Sammy Monday, now he faces Gabe Owen. If he wins, probably Jonathan Hennessee, and next Johnny Archer (or possibly Mad Max Eberle). Then Robb Saez or Mike Davis, and then Neils. No rest for Ramil.

    Hosting a Challenge Match?

I don't think there is a way to get money back. But, for real answers, you might want to talk with the guys from The Action Report. Also, it seems that if you back someone, like say you want to back Chris Bartrum against Justin Bergman for 5k, if someone who likes Bergman puts up his 5k...

    bald spot after miscue

it could be from hitting the cue ball funny, but it could be from hitting the bed of the table with your tip also. I miscue alot:eek: , and there is usually a trail of chalk along the table bed.

SJM Reflectons on the World 14.1 Championships

If they had re-seeded completely, then perhaps Jasmin would not have had to have a re-match against Mika, and Chavez would not have had to have a re-match against Neils. Rematches should generally be avoided if possible I think.
