    Meucci Wrap Question

I think the point to sealing the wrap is to have the look of a wrap but still wrapless. You also can hide imperfections in the wood under the wrap. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

    Cheap Cue Recommendations

I'm not sure if they are under $50 anymore but McDermott's Lucky (imported) line are decent. Large pin 3/8-10 pin so they provide a good base to upgrade the shaft someday. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

    Shorter break cue

I didn't stick with it but I was having success choking up on the break for a brief time. Even with the Mezz, I don't think you really are choking up, just holding it at the end, which puts you at the end of a wrap on a normal cue. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

Fargo Question. Rating going up without playing.

I certainly know nothing about Fargo but college football rankings included strength of schedule as a factor. If you win a game early in the season and that team goes on to beat highly ranked teams, your team will get a bump as your strength of schedule would improve. To relate it to Fargo...

    Break Speed App Issue

I didn’t have the app installed anymore so I just put it back on my iPad mini, no iPhone right now. I can’t change the table from 9 foot to any other table. I did see that I can successfully change to a custom distance so I’ll measure the distance and be able to use the app, after all. Sent...

    Lucasi owners' pin preference

I don't recall seeing a radial but I do see an occasional 3/8-10. I don't like the quick release personally but I bet it is popular. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

    Break Speed App Issue

I had a similar problem. Considering I bought it a very long time ago, I figured it has been abandoned. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

    Pechauer Black Ice for breaker?

I have one. I also have a pechaur carbon break shaft. I do find myself using the carbon one more often but can say the Black Ice is more forgiving. When I'm careless with the carbon, the cue ball spins and the wasted energy is obvious. The cue ball never spins with the black ice. The weight...

    Rhino cf shaft

They do sell a set of testers for 5/16-14 pins. These are really for testing the various pitches of pins, but you would solve your problem too. A side benefit is you might find one fits your cue better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    DAZN Account Problems

Also, I did a month in December and the monthly plan is now, not just one stream, but only one device can be logged in. This was quite a pain for me as I moved from TV to TV in my house. I don't think I will bother watching the US get destroyed this year. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

    DAZN Account Problems

I can't say much about your mystery but I highly recommend people sign up through an Apple device (maybe android too but I haven't used it). Apple keeps a stupid amount of money from DAZN but that is their problem, not the customer. Then you can cancel with certainty. Sent from my Pixel 6a...

Doc Frye shaft - fit of piloted shafts

If you want it to have the pilot making contact at all, you would be better off getting the Schon version and getting it trimmed. The alternative, like here: https://seyberts.com/collections/jacoby-shafts/products/5-16-x-14-thread-jacoby-black-v4-0-carbon-fiber-cue-shaft?variant=42699880267974...

A new way to think about position?

Dr Dave had a recent video on shooting into the line. I highly recommend it. His demonstrations showed ways to play where you could be short or long of ideal and be good. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

I received this link from PayPal about the IRS today.

How about this scenario? A person, you, me or anyone else buys a Predator cue for $1200. They use it for a month, and decide it isn't for them. Put it up for sale on AZ/FB for $1000, sold as goods to protect seller and buyer, what do they owe in taxes? What would the IRS think they owe in taxes...

    Joint identification

I hoped that my own photo would help but the two pins look pretty similar. I can assure you that my left cue is 5/16-14 and the right is 5/16-18. I do think yours are 14s but you might want to stop in a pool hall on league night. A Joss/Schon is a 14 and a Meucci is 18. A couple of turns will...

    Your favorite pin & why?

I have tried everything and have only kept 5/16-14 and radial. I started with a Schon and my first favorite customs were from Barnhart and Nitti, both radial. All of my carbon shafts are for radial so I'm using maple or kielwood on a Jensen or Sly (5/16-14) or carbon on Radial. Sent from my...

can someone explain TAP skill level raising to me?

Also, skill levels are separate for each format. I've seen a player be a 5 in 8ball and a 3 in 9ball. One level difference happens often. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
