I was wondering what it would take to add a screw on extension to an existing butt. Does the extension screw into a threaded weight bolt? I guess the extension goes over the bumper? Can you order the parts or is it only custom made? My cue has a weight bolt installed. Will the extension hardware...

Thanks. It seems to be doing very well here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I am of the opinion that pool is not so much dying as changing its identity. It has become more of a recreational activity than a chosen profession. Its a social thing where you get to have a few drinks with your friends...

I am not talking about the pros or serious tournaments and action. I mean the amateur leagues like APA, BCA, VNEA, local in house etc… Is the casual amatuer league player on the rise or on the decline? How are the various pool leagues doing in your area?

Good point and I agree. That could explain why he has issues with email. It is very impersonal and many folks don't even use the phone any more. But he should still not call anyone names. It's poor human behavior much less bad business behavior. Unacceptable to me and I won't deal with people...

John, please tell Roy that perhaps he should put a banner up on each page of his website that says "All prices are firm and non negotionable. No discounts. Thank you". This would go a long way in helping him avoid conflict. A simple fix!

I was treated the same way after offering Roy fifty dollars less than his asking price on a JB case. So I ordered one directly from John and paid one hundred less than his price. Roy was nice at first. Then the insults and accusations of being a dealer. And by the way, I was a repeat customer...

Same here. I spoke with him for hours back in 2004. It was a very interesting conversation. I made plans to meet with him in person but it never worked out. I regret not making that happen.

You helped put me in contact with Jim almost two years ago because I wanted to buy some bowling alley shafts. Which I bought. I have since purchased two Pierce cues and still have them and couldnt be happier! Thanks for the heads up on some great playing cues!!!

... then making cues doesnt make enough money for the time and effort invested. He can make more money doing somthing else (to support his family) and go back to building cues for personal pleasure when time time permits.
