What is the best production cues you like most?

To the person asking about Samsara... They're beautiful cues, but there's no way I'd use the stock shaft. It deflected so bad that I used outside english on a back-cut and hit the other side of the object ball and sent it in the opposite direction I had intended to. I recommend either a Mezz...

    Player of Month

For Turning Stone, I'd have to go with Dechaine. Going through the entire B-side undefeated is a bigger accomplishment imo

I finally found a way to correctly handicap pool!!!

How does the handicapping work as translated to the letter format we're more familiar with? For example, would 120+ be considered a B player? 80=C+?

    Practice Game of Bowlliards

I learned the game in Japan as well. It's actually pretty awesome for tracking progression. When I first started, my scores were in the 20's. Now I'm up near the 150's. Do you have a skill level to score guide? for example, I think 120 is considered B?

making the rails a different color than the table

No thanks. My eyes should be focusing on the object ball with no distractions.

    Mike Dechaine playing in W9B

Agreed. But, I still disagree and would have to say that the system is set up fairly. Taking everything into consideration, players from each country/region would have to travel about equally to play in more events.

    Mike Dechaine playing in W9B

well... this is my heavily skewed opinion... but in Europa and Asia they sponsor their players and treat them like athletes. In good ol' Murca, We have stakehorses and saved up vacation days. Go look over in that "where do pool players go" thread. There's a comment in there about unemployment...

    Mike Dechaine playing in W9B

Yeah, you're right. we should just move all of them to the USA. Let the competition come to us. 3/14 works out to roughly 20%, which sounds a little generous to be giving one single country, don't you think?

    Jason Shaw / Mosconi Cup

I get it. But we're talking about pool players, not presidential candidates.

    Jason Shaw / Mosconi Cup

I'm guessing he wouldn't be eligible for the same reason Toasty wasn't selected when he was winning everything? Maybe once he gets his green card he can play for USA.

    Shane's in for Mosconi Cup

    Pre-Shot Routine, help please

I used straight-in cross-table stop shots to build my PSR, for what it's worth. when I start rushing or taking shortcuts, I notice it immediately and it's kind of a "slap myself back in line". I know that if i make at least 8/10 or 12/15 while I'm practicing my stop shot, I'm doing good.

    Backcuts: Take 2

I also like spot-to-spot shots. 10 left, 10 right, then move the OB back 1 ball's width.

How important is the hop on Shane's break?

You mean, like a drill? I thought Shane doesn't do drills. [/sarcasm]

I'm eager to see how the accu-rack performs at the open.

Was this a foul at TS or a SHARK

I don't really agree with the "that's the way it's always been" mentality. While we all enjoy seeing pro pool played at its highest level, I think we're being a bit overly critical of Jayson Shaw in particular. I watched the stream most of the weekend, and every match I watched, the players were...
