Yep You got it, you can order them shapped or not, I prefer the flat ones because I like my tips as thick as possible for longevity purposes and its a 30 min drive to Jerico cue shop to have them put on.

Does the Ivory joint and ferrule cut down deflection for you? How do you feel it effects the play of the cue as opposed to a wood to wood with a "normal" material ferrule?

Nice Viattorre Hey Shorty, Well have you played with it yet? I loved the way it plays, I recieved my new cue today and I cant wait to feel better to go hit some with it. I hope you enjoy your new cue. Also, I like to leave my tips as thick as possible=more life per tip+softer hit.
