    Rules Question

Since he didn't make the previous ball I would think this is looked at like double clutching the cue ball. The player touched the cue again after the shot therefore it is a foul and opposing player's turn. Telling a player he didn't make a ball isn't coaching that is stating a fact. Every league...

The humiliation of finding out your real level

I go look for a local worldbeater every now and then get a big spit and get my a$$ kicked. Just to remind myself that I suck in the whole scheme of things.

    Escrow service question

I have some friends that have had success with escrow.com for items other than pool cues. If everyone wants to be protected escrow is the way to go. I do agree with making the fees the responsibility of the buyer since buyer is the one requesting it.

    I'm in the giving mood......

If you watch the second video I almost hit it too hard which would have given me a 7th rail and that was not the purpose of the shot. If you read my above post I was about an inch away from it when the cue ball came to rest after hitting the 6th rail.

    Ferrule

There are two combinations I like depending on the rest of the cue. I like Aegis with a med. Moori and I also like ivory with a tip pad and a soft Moori. This is 100% personal preference everyone has their own taste in hits.

    I'm in the giving mood......

The one that looks like 7 rails stopped about an inch off the 7th rail. I just recovered my table so I had to shoot it 2-3 times to get the speed slow enough. As mentioned in the PM i'll be more than happy to PayPal you the money for shipping if you'd like. Thanks again. I can think of a couple...

How Much Cash Do You Carry?

If they owed me more than $6 I may have worried about it. My accountant handles all that. I don't know if they even issue checks to corps. Could have just gotten a credit. I am a new member here and so far have been enjoying it. I ask you not to judge me based on the 40 posts I have made here...

How Much Cash Do You Carry?

I know a guy who was married 3 times and eventually got back together with his second wife. When I asked him why he went back, as serious as he could be said "I missed my stuff."

    pocket reducers

I tried them and didn't have much luck on a double shimmed table. They served there purpose but as mentioned above not all shots play right; especially rail shots. I have not tried them with standard sized pockets though.

How Much Cash Do You Carry?

(insert sarcasm) Oh come on now it's the government that can't be that smart. (end sarcasm) All kidding aside with all the system cheating going on out there i'm confident the frequency this occurs in combination with the amount of deposits and accounts my company has I would be very surprised...

A pro organization should represent how many?

Being a professional and professionalism are two different things to me. A professional to me is what I mentioned in the above post. Professionalism on the other hand (to me) is the act of ethical conduct expected from a model professional. The primary difference is you don't have to be a pro to...

A pro organization should represent how many?

This is exactly right. A professional (fill in the blank) is someone who makes a majority or at least a very significant amount of their income doing (fill in the blank).

How Much Cash Do You Carry?

Good news is I don't have to do it often and when I do it is usually only 2-3 deposits which I make in varying amounts. Luckily I make alot of deposits throughout the weeks so it doesn't look too suspicious. If they catch me I deserve it just like every time I get a speeding ticket :p
