Thanks didn't have any on hand but might have to get some for my case. At any rate I will still use the coffee.

Just to confirm that using coffee works . I wrapped the leather ( lizard ) with tin foil and coffee sealing the edges. It removed the cigarette smell.

Because of the place I play the cue has been re-wrapped 3 times. New wrap , no smell. After a year or so I would have it done again.

I bought the cue from a broker, one owner .It was 98% new. unfortunately the stench came from the only place to play here in the Keys. I just got my new Mike Stacy wrap-less from TravD today in the post...sweeet! I think I'll leave the Skip buried for another day. If I need to re-wrap it before...

It's the wrap,yes I have had it re-wrapped three times by Dennis Searing. I'm over it.
