    Simonis - Orange

I did a light oak table where the customer asked for the bright neon pink from championship. She just got divorced and won the table in the settlement. She said she wanted to make the table to look liker hers, so that's the way she was doing.

    Table Make/Model?

Looks like a Chinese GC knock off. http://www.yinoyi.com/billiard.htm they do some pretty convincing work. Im not saying it is this "brand" exactly, but could be any other of a number of them.

    Connelly rail height

I went into that main Connelly store a few months ago looking for gold crown drop pockets (they are the Brunswick dealer in Arizona) and they did not know the difference in the corner castings between the GC4 and the previous tables. I also asked them about some different rubber options they...

What to charge for a reassembly

I got out to a house one day and the owner of the table told me over the phone that the table was out in the garage and the job was to dismantle the table, move it into his living room, recover, and then reassemble the table. No big deal right? Thats what I thought. He failed to mention that...

    slate seams

Just score the bondoed seem with a utility knife and it will pop right apart. As for the bondo in the screw holes, i make wood plugs for mine first most of the time then bondo over that, or just use wax for the screw holes. I work on an average of 10 tables a week, and try to not use a filler...

    best glue for rails

The Artemis plays great on the table. I plugged all the nut plate insert holes on the rails, so I get no "blip" sound when hitting those spots on the rail. Now I just have to get good enough that I like playing on the tight pockets. Its quite a difference.

3 week follow up after installing Velocity Pro cloth at Pool Sharks/Vegas.

This is the little thing I came up with. I'm not too sure as to how long this lasts just for stapling, I have always managed to get the tanks half full after shooting some people with the paintball guns they are supposed to go to. Lowe's sells something similar now. I like my...

That 35lb tank holds LOTS of 'air' to staple with. I usually fill mine every 4 months and I use it for everything...air tools to change tires, inflating tires, blowing off slate, stapling....it works great. Even to use as a back-up might be a good way to go. Just bolt it in the back of your...

I have been looking for a good hose to use, what brand is yours, the problem I have is the 25' coil hose I have is too coiled and not long enough and the 25' regular house seems to be too much hose. I saw a guy with an air hose that was probably only about 3/8 an inch and looked to be clear...

Harbor Freight is an tool store that sells (for the most part) cheap sometimes crappy tools, but once and a while they have a good product for a great price like these little guys. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46365

Keep watching the sales, they sometimes run as low as 15.99 thats what I got mine for. I use a Co2 tank with mine, so I even have to have a compressor. I have a 35 lb tank I keep in my truck, and a little 12oz paint ball tank I have adapted to use when I don't want to lug the big one around.

Found pics of a Monarch I set up in our show room

I was cleaning out my camera and found these pics of a 1800s Brunswick Monarch I set up in our show room a month or so ago. There is another antique Brunswick pictured there but I'm not too sure what that one is. Just thought I would share. P.S. Rep point added to the Cobra, thanks for your...

I was thinking about using a roller on the glue, but it was 3 in the morning when I was going to glue, so I just used what I had laying around. Those little spongy brushes work pretty well too, and they are cheap. Belt sander is the best thing to come to billiards tools since the pneumatic...

Is this what you mean by use a 45 degree on the side pockets? Please excuse all the Bondo. I think in the other pictures it is hard to see the angle of the wood because of the way the picture is taken.

    best glue for rails

Love the belt sander, easiest way to get the best results on rails. I have never gotten the rubber to be so smooth and follow the angle of the sub-rail so closely. I almost didn't want to cover up the cushions with the facings because it looked so good.
