    Congratulations Fedor

Josh is a force and I feel he will be the man to beat for a long time. Fedor and Josh will no doubt have many epic battles and we will be the winners of those. Shane has showed the world he is still the man and by coming in second today will not take anything away from his position as my...

How did this become OK ?

Yes it is common and I get it. After all the practicing and playing for days its a release of sorts. If the players would please stop standing on the rail rubber when they jump off. I cringe every time I see that.;)

    Congratulations Fedor

Fedor shows that he is a class act. With the things he has accomplished at his age is truly impressive. I couldn't be happier for him. Shane also took the loss, like the champion he is. Thanks also to Matchroom sports for another enjoyable event. One more year until retirement and then I will...

    Pool Rooms In Durango, CO?

It has been awhile since I have been there. Took down a big score back in the day at a place called Farquahrts. Not a pool room but it had tables, got my opposition and most of the rail. Orio's roadhouse has a few Valley's and a couple of Diamonds at El Rancho. Probably more spots in town, but...

    Diamond bar boxes are trash

Mine was a 69 GTO with a 400. Auto tranny but it had a shift kit. My two best friends had a Mustang with a 289 and a Ford Galaxy 500 with a hopped up 351. I usually got them in the quarter mile but we were always close. That Pony car amazed me more than a few times, small engine but not much...

Useful Direction Control with Small-Gap and Frozen-Ball Kiss Shots

Dave you and Bob are due for a Mini Cue for all your impressive work. I will try and get on it as soon as the snow flies. I am crazy busy with work and side jobs but down to less then a year before retirement. Side jobs will continue but Mini cues will happen.

Useful Direction Control with Small-Gap and Frozen-Ball Kiss Shots

Good stuff Dave! I think those of us that have played a lot are aware that these shots are out there. But seeing the nuances of the different angles, speeds and English really makes the difference.

    Diamond bar boxes are trash

Here is what I did. Watch the Harbor Freight (sucky store) sale flyer for their 1/4" drive torque wrench to go on sale for $9.99. Buy a piece of Taom chalk (sucky chalk). Keep the wrench in your pocket when playing. Drop the chalk on the floor and it will roll under the middle of the table...

Total knee replacement yesterday, no pool for a while

At 25 I decided to jump off the tracks of a D9 Bulldozer I had been operating, the staircase was too slow. I sprained and broke my ankle, along with torn ligaments. I suffered with pain and a bad limp for 20 years and then had my ankle fused. The surgeon spent 9 hours scraping arthritis from all...
