If it is close to straight and has a decent tip it will do. HOWEVER, having a cue you really like ( for whatever reason) it is nicer. Makes the game a little nicer, makes the attitude a little better....and as Billy Crystal used to say " You looook mahhvellouse"

For 10 ish, I would like a very nice szam. For20 I would love a one off samsara utilizing that twisted fantail design, or maybe a crazy Thomas Wayne. Sooo many possibilities though.

Very involved repair for sure. Ryan theewan at mueller did a similar repair for me on a runde schon. The result was outstanding. I could have played it as it was, but I received a perfect repair and like the cue better now. I bet the owner of the SW feels the same way.

Joe Porper. He made very fine cues. One of the greats in the industry. It may say under the bumper and it should have been marked porper on the butt cap. I can't guess on price, not knowing shape, or if repairs have been done. His cues were on par with pfd, Phillipi, samsara, etc. good...
