Cuesmith lathes are used in conjunction with larger metal lathes to make cues. Can't hurt to buy one and if in the future you want to make cues you can get another lathe and keep the one you have for other operations.

what motor is on the deluxe now? did he ever change motors? can you buy a motor from Chris Hightower?

I think that cue balls are made of different materials. If this is so then the tip will grab one differently than the other. If that is so it may require a different crown etc. ? What do you think?

JC you do very well on youtube and your technique is excellent. I'd buy one if I could afford it, I' m sure your quality demands a high price.
