Mad Man Single Layer Cue Tips

I've used several of Juan's tips now & have nothing but good things to say. He has excellent choices for those looking for an ultra hard leather j/b tip & as well those wanting a hard tip to play with. Quality tips.

    Lucasi Break Shaft

Mike his Az name is Ratcues. Ryan is well known as one of the very best repair guys in the country...and a fine cuemaker as well. http://forums.azbilliards.com/member.php?u=8783

    Dymond wood

If you like it then great. I though think it looks horrible. Too many absolutely beautiful exotic natural woods are available...I'd much rather use those as I prefer the designs by Mother Nature. The only place I could ever consider using it would be in ringwork or maybe a deco ring...and...

Sly 6 point with hoppe style butt

Sadly its a sign of the times Leon. I've seen it several times myself. I think you must have classier customers than I though...twice now I've finished a cue only to find out that my customer is now incarcerated.

    Lucasi Break Shaft

Mike...just send a pm to Ryan of Rat cues. He'll dial you in with exactly what you want & his work is as high a quality as anyone on the planet. Downside is that he's not very easy on the eyes and his fishing skills are extremely poor.

    Joey Bautista sneaky FS

If you aren't familiar...these cues Joey makes are crafted with old school perfection using the finest of parts resulting in what very well may be the finest hitting cue made at any price. Joey learned his craft from the late Kerry Zeiler. As for performance, many consider Mr. Bautista to be...

    Sold My First Cue

Keep good pictures as well as the records too. Neat to go back & see what you made years ago. Also it serves well when a customer is curious what a certain cue may look like...often you can go back & find a pic of one similar to show them.

Rare Gina Purpleheart Titlist Convertion for Trade with Other Ginacue or for Sale

I didn't even know Ernie had done any conversions...talk about rare! The veneer colors are vivid and the purpleheart is stellar. This is without doubt my favorite Gina. Superb cue James.

For Sale McDermott I3 Shaft - 3/8x10 - Black Collar

One of the better area players uses one of these i3 shafts and he can flat do some stuff with the cueball that I wouldn't even attempt. I've seen him hit some inside english shots that aren't human! And he has it on a crappy old Budweiser cue so I know its the shaft.

Custom Cue Lathe - the video (part 1)

Correct! Tony I'd never attemp to turn any wood with corners. On the super cheap you can make a box with plexiglass lid to run your squares over a tablesaw....spin the squares with a drill & push it across the blade. Presto...15 seconds & then you have nice smooth round stock to start...

    Sold My First Cue

    Bumperless Cue Ivory "Bolt" Cap

Les thats very trick looking...super neat. My only concern is how durable is it? You know many owners can't leave well enough alone and will at some point stick an allen head in there to have a look around. I can see someone torque it down... Definately the coolest bumperless I've seen...

    Sold My First Cue

You have me curious with that statement so I have to ask...how in the world are you turning them that fast? Did you go from square wood stock to 12 finished cues in 90 days? Or are you buying blanks that are already finished size & building from that? I understand that you are excited but I'm...

Are making joint protectors a pain in the a..

Hello Jim. My guess was correct then...a short shaft was the only thing that made sense. Thank you sir for taking the time to answer...I myself was curious after seeing the pic. Hope things are going smooth as possible for you my friend & have a wonderful Christmas.

Are making joint protectors a pain in the a..

Alan I haven't seen the pic you mention & not to speak for Jim...but...often a longer JP is made to cover some of the longer pins used today like a Radial. The shorter protectors are for the shafts & longer ones for the butts. Edited to add: Alan I see the pic you are talking about & I...

    My small collection, for now...

Tony you realize that since you are starting cuemaking that you'll need to sell all these. I remember back many years ago when I first started building...I was playing with an ebony Cog & someone asked me since I was a cuemaker why wasn't I playing with my cues? I had no answer...and they were...
