Memory Lane
Thanks for posting CJ. I really enjoyed watching that match. Just seeing this post has got me thinking about some players you don't see or hear from much any more.
Roger Griffis
John Horsfal
David Howard
George Breedlove
I can remember seeing all of you, including Steve Mizerak...
Some designs seem to stand the test of time
The first spring-loaded mouse trap was invented by William C. Hooker of Abingdon Illinois, who received US patent 528671 for his design in 1894. Still my choice if I'm trying to catch a mouse. The pictured model 'hits a ton'!!!
Shhhhh…..Did you hear that?
I think it was RALPH GREENLEAF, WILLIE HOPPE, IRVING CRANE, STEVE MIZERAK, WILLIE MOSCONI, JOE BALSIS, LUTHER LASSITER, JIMMY MOORE and CISERO MURPHY collectively weeping from their graves.
I'm completely baffled...maybe nothing new.
Can someone explain to me how this is good for professional pool?
Efren three rail kicked the nine ball in to beat me at pool but when we get in the ring I'm going to knock his teeth out.....OH WAIT.....never mind.
Good cue for under $100
Thanks Mike....I was thinking the same thing as I was looking at Seyberts and you can even choose a shaft diameter or upgraded tip for a small charge.
I know this has to have been discussed before but I haven't had any luck with a search. I have a new player on my APA team that has expressed an interest in getting an inexpensive cue. Could someone point me to a thread or offer any suggestions?
Action Sneaky?
Players Sneaky?
Other?
Doug Sharp
Mike,
Thanks for passing along this very sad news.
Every time I saw Doug he would greet me with warm hello and a friendly smile. Rest in peace Doug!!!
You support Joe's statement with your comments.
Where in Joe_Jaguar's post was there any mention of Earls ability as a player? It appears that your justified admiration of Earl's accomplishments at the table precludes you from acknowledging his abhorrible behavior.
Aiming threads....I can't look away!
Aiming threads are like those great "In Search Of" style documentaries for the Chupacabra, Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot. They remain fascinating to both skeptics and believers alike. Those that believe will continue undeterred by the skeptics and those...
3andstop post
Spidey…I'm in the same camp as 3andstop in terms of the importance of stroke mechanics. I would be interested in your comments regarding his is last post.
