Bert Schrager Classic 6-Point Unsigned Cue.. Seeking Info

I don't. I bought it in 2021. Apparently it was a raffle at a local elks back in the early 90's and it was old at that point. I had found an old catalog online that I can't seem to find at the moment, but based on the design it is Bert's homage to Martin. I think it may have been a...

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

As far as I know, Falcon did not make cues at the Joss facility, though there was a partnership between them when they created Tyler cues in Canada.

    Help identifying unknown cues

Not sure. I saw the guy post these on Reddit before he posted them on eBay. Sorry that I pushed your bid up in the last 10 seconds. Due to the large outer veneer, it makes me feel it was a one off or first time builder. I have a feeling it is super stiff and plays great for billiards.

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

As far as I know, Joss did not put out sharp point cues for themselves or for Brunswick in the 80’s or 90’s. Some of the east 80’s had sharp inner points within a CNC’d point.

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

Prior to Chen meeting with Joss, he made Mohawk cues. I think Ernie only made them for year or two. Here is my Falcon made Brunswick.

    ID this cue?

That is a Mali with a custom G10 pin. It originally came with a steel 3/8x10 pin. The one I had was very stiff and played like an 80's McDermott.

    Cousins Custom cues

I first played with a Cousins around 30 years ago at Buffalo Billiards in Cotati, CA. I got a Viking Merry Widow, which was around $120 give or take. I wanted a Cousins, but it was closer to $300. They played great, but never became popular nor valuable. My stepdad picked up #36 when the...

    Are these Wico Veneers?

I really dig the butt sleeve on that cue. Before I knew what WICO points were, I passed on a full splice house cue with WICO points and a WICO sticker on it. Foolish me. I didn't want a cue with plastic in it.

Unknown Vintage Cue, can you identify?

Looks like an old Brunswick medalist with a Schmelke joint.

    Used table questions

I'm thinking around $1k, though I have a feeling that a decent table installed and setup is closer to $2k.

    Used table questions

Ideally I’d love a 9ft, but I think I will need to settle on an 8ft. My budget, well low at the moment. I don’t need a gold crown, but I also don’t want to waste money on shit. I took my son out to shoot this weekend and he asked how much a table cost, so I started thinking it might be nice...

    Used table questions

I’m kinda looking for a table and would love a list of does and don’ts when looking over a table. I did find one table that might be a nice little table, though my ignorance on tables runs deep. It has a three piece 1” OIS slate by Garbarino and sons. I can’t find a label on the table though.

    Unknown sneaky ID help

I’m sure this is a complete unknown, but I figured I would post it anyway. I found this at a thrift shop yesterday. It is light, fat and feels stiff. Hard to tell from the pics, but the joint and buttcap are black linen phenolic.

    Unknown cue ID help

I’m pretty good at ID’ing unknown cues, but this one is pretty simple with a few potential ID’ing features. Not sure what kind of wood Brown phenolic joint rings Roughly 57” Ferrule is reminiscent of 80’s McDermott fiber Black buttcap with a simple screw in bumper, no weight bolt. Brass...

That is a rich with KaoKao points. I saw the same cue at a pool hall last year.

    Phillippi sneaky pete

I found this on a small road trip when I stopped at a pawn shop. Lucky for me they had it marked as “Philippines” cue. A buddy had a real simple Phillippi sneaky years ago that played great, but I can’t say I hear much about them anymore. What’s the general consensus on these?
