    the ebony hit confusion.....

Not a cue maker but I'm a player who has used cues made from just about everything and put full table draw strokes on them all. Dude...That's just a sweet cue! Ernie does a great job of naturally weighting and balancing his cues to really get them to play amazing no matter what materials are...

    Seyberts & Schon Shafts

I don't have any real experience with the APA other than reading about it on here so I just tried it but it did feel a little icky typing it..It does however save you $6.00 if you put a non-standard tip on or it'll save you $9 to $10 on an ivory ferruled shaft! Is it worth it now? :happydance...

Cue with an S on it

Looks like a pretty good find if the price doesn't rise too much from where it is now. Hopefully it won't get elevated based on people reading into his misleading sales pitch. Clearly he knows it's not a BB or a TS but said it anyway to entice bidding. To give this person the benefit of the...

Cue with an S on it

Might be a Showcase cue. They used a slightly italic S on the buttcap of their cues. Good hitting cues made by Clay and his crew which for a few years included Ernie Martinez at Showcase billiards supply in Colorado. Good shooting to you Kevin

What is the best mass Production cue in term of feel and playabilty?

Schon or Joss for sure but I am partial to steel joints and stiffer hitting cues. Just pick a design you like, weight, tip size, LD shaft or not and go shoot. They both have real solid quality feeling cues with or with out the addition of an LD shaft. Mezz is also another good choice and made...

    Finally ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~

Leon..that's a very nicely designed elegant cue. A couple of high quality shafts well paired with it like you usually match them and someone's going to have a Lot of fun with this cue. Thanks for sharing this one. Kevin

Anyone have this stroke problem that perplexes me...?

I'll add if you're using a closed bridge then to try an open one with 3 and Stop's suggested technique. Switching to an open bridge or a longer bridge length on a closed bridge has really helped me see things better and hit more consistently near the center of the cue ball to get that ball down...

    Ways to remove shaft discoloration?

lol...Magic Eraser x 3 or is it 4..lol I've received some real deeply stained blue shafts on cues I've purchased and even though I like my shafts cleaner looking never though twice about it since I found Magic erasers. I use mine with a tiny bit of water but other people will recommend using...

is this a TIM SCRUGGS ???????????

I'm definitely not an expert on these older cues but from what I've seen in my online searches, I was thinking Fedunka although the points look a bit like early Joss cues to me. Hope that helps. At any rate looks like you picked up another nice piece of cue history. Congrats! wouldn't mind...

I still have one build out there, not sure yet when I'm going to be getting it but it'll definitely be part of the daily player rotation if not leading the pack when completed. Lee Peppers- 4 point/ 4 veneer gaboon ebony points into a nicely figured dark as well as rich piece of cocobolo with a...

Mike Wong Exotic Jump Shot Video

Nice shot and nice job thinking out of the box to come up with it. I like how you put the 8 so close to the 10 ball and to the long rail to show your jumping precision as well as your control in keeping the cue ball on the table. Thanks for sharing that. Good shooting to you! Kevin

    My two new Lee Peppers

Both are great looking cues. I also have one that hits great and another on the way. Lee makes a real solid hitting and lively cue. I also really like the green veneered 4 pointer. Congrats on your new cues. Enjoy! Good shooting, Kevin
