Agreed. My room is in a basement. If it starts climbing it gets musty. That's why I keep mine where I do. If your room doesn't have moisture issues. Probably doesn't matter.

Looking for 1 used leather pocket

I have an idea I want to do in my basement, and I need a leather pocket. I've never actually replaced pockets before but I would imagine the used ones wind up in the trash. I'd like to repurpose one if you don't mind sending it my way. I'll gladly pay shipping on it. It's hard to buy just 1...

It did not have score keepers. There were 6-9ft GC's in the pool hall and none of them had them. There were beads above the tables. I wish it did have counters for 14.1. Oh well! I kind of agree with the speakers. I kind of like them white.

I have considered painting them. Not sure yet if I will or not. I also have put a piece of painted MDF over the electrical panel so it's pretty well blended in.

Alright guys, I think this is probably my last post since I'm pretty much done at this point. So I got the wet bar installed recently and finished up all the trim. So this is what I did. I'm attaching a "Before" and "After" picture of the room. I'm off to enjoy the room now! The...

Looking for unique ideas where to rest cues.

I've been building my pool room (which can be seen here if interested http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=297323&highlight=Starting+basement ) I need a place to put cues in between shots and I'd like to see some people's pictures of how you may have handled it. A couple chairs have...

It's fine for what it is. I would love a diamond or brunswick light, but they are very large and hide a large portion of room. If I didn't have the soffit to go under I probably would get a larger fluorescent. Don't get a 3 light. It won't be enough and a 5 can be a bit long if you don't raise...

First off thanks for all the compliments and suggestions I've received over the last couple months. It's been an exciting couple months for sure!! I'm seeing the finish line and it's nice. All I have left is some trim work and a Bifold door for the closet. I'm still waiting on the wet bar to...

They're for "floating shelves" It's built into the studs so I can just slide a thick shelf in and don't need any fasteners or brackets. Just a little construction adhesive. It's shelving for A/V equipment.

I have flooded many times here also! Certainly a concern at ALL times. I put in a battery backup sump system the weekend after drywall got put up. I still check morning and after work everyday...just have to put faith in the weekends and weeks away!! :frown:
