Could be the way the cloth is pulled as well. I recovered my table and have that issue. Pulled too tight in the middle at the end rail and didn't have enough to pull over and down by the pockets. Going to redo it even though it rarely causes a miss.

I have a GC4 and bought a used ball return. Mine was from a 2 or 3. Works great. But will need pockets for them.

Had mine for about 8 months and use them regularly fro 9 and 10 ball. They've held up great so far. Seems like a similar material to the other plastic/clear template racks.
