If you haven't had any responses, I've got a pretty good stock of these and can let 6 go. PM me and maybe I can help.

    NEW Bulletproof Synthetic Playing Tips.

Interesting concept! Thanks for the offer, I'm due to replace the PRO Ultraskin I currently use so I'll put one on my personal stick, give it a workout for a couple three weeks and post an honest review. Ordered. Thanks again!

    Wrap Magic Fixture Copy

Of course you can do them by hand, they were done that way for decades before Unique's fixture came along. I installed a couple by hand, customers were happy, but being a perfectionist I was never 100% satisfied with the results even after redoing one of them three times (that one cost me...

Dufferin one piece loose at the center joint

I have a Garrett Pin Pointer that would work perfectly for this. Why I never thought of it is anyone's guess. :) Great idea, thanks for mentioning it! Much more accurate than using a magnet.

Dufferin one piece loose at the center joint

Ouch... that stick has lived a hard life! :) I forgot all about this thread until you revived it. I ended up getting around to my repair last Oct in order to get it back to my buddy at his birthday party. Here's the pics.... How I got it.... That aluminum pin went ~4" into the forearm but...

    Tiger IB+ Material?

Interesting, LD isn't normally a property I consider on break/jump cues, I'm usually looking for quite the opposite. Thanks.

    Tiger IB+ Material?

Why the hell is it hollow? Doesn't look like there was much material thickness at all at the apex of the tip. Crazy....

    Cue tip glue

If yours was put together like this one I could see it breaking the bond even with playing tips. It was acting like a drum head and I can't imagine any glue could bond reliably with it moving like that. If you don't want to go as far as I did with the plug you could always just take the ferrule...

    Cue tip glue

Suharsh, I had a similar experience with a SST shaft a couple months ago. Customer was using it for a break stick, he uses a different cuetec for playing. Wanted a Mako clear (just like a bulletproof) break tip. Put it on with epoxy as I usually do with break tips and came off after 5 breaks. So...

5 min Epoxy. The correct answer!

Gary, I use DP460 for several hard to bond applications. It has a slightly longer working time than DP420 but is also a bit stronger. DP460 looks more to be 2:1 but it's easy to work with. The plungers move easily and smoothly so it's easy to simply push on them with a dowel or even a pencil and...

    Kelly's Cue Cut Experts

Good points Mike! herkemeyer, I just created a file using your settings. As you can see, the Y does indeed start at -.884 per my calculations above. The only difference is I'm using a "stock" taper that came with cue cut. You may also want to check your custom taper and make sure nothing wonky...

    Kelly's Cue Cut Experts

Are you positive your Y axis is calibrated correctly? In other words, if you tell it to move 1" in the Y does it actually move exactly 1"? Your settings in cue cut look ok unless I missed something. Lets see where it should start cutting. 1.25 tool divided by 2 = .625 Initial shaft tip dia =...

    Glue weight bolt ?

Thank you for this Mr. Webb. I've done several joints on Heublers but have never been into a weight bolt. Would have never guessed that's what I'd find lurking in there. Really appreciate you sharing your "black book" with us. I have learned much from you over the years and it is very generous...

Question about 'The Feel' of a cue

This one caught my eye since we seem to have the same preferences when it comes to "hit" (whatever that is). I can only share my experience as everyone has their own definition of hit and feel. It's not something that's easy to put into words. I've been playing for ~50 years and once I had...

    1.5" LOC Custom threader

Sure, why not? The other one I got from you was borderline for coarser threads but worked like a champ for the finer stuff. Please PM instructions for Venmo.... never used it before but just set up an account. Thank you Sir!
