I think 14.1 on a 10 foot table would be extremely cool. However, until 10 foot tables are in more common use, I think the finals should be played on 9 foot tables. Playing on 10 foot tables will not be conducive to seeing top notch playing.

I totally agree with Mark Griffin in both the reasons for not having CW as the captain and for choosing Tony Robles. Tony would be an outstanding choice IMHO.

And, if I remember correctly, Shane has a coach that he confers with from time to time. Just sayin'.

If live streams were trouble free, I would pay to watch and refer friends. However, I've had enough problems with live streams that I refuse to pay to watch anything. As the technology gets better, I will watch more and pay if I must.

Everyone needs help of some form or another. That is why pro players have coaches. That is, unless the VNEA players are above the pros. :rolleyes: I played in the APA Masters a few years ago and wish I could still fit it in my schedule. I loved the format and the competition. It is way better...

In my experience, league players do not necessarily follow pro pool. Many of them are much more interested in watching the other league players or just going to the bar. Most of them don't even know the names of more than a few pro players and wouldn't recognize them if they bumped into them...

The sad fact is that most league players don't know what straight pool is. They do know 8-ball and that is what they can relate to and what they would support most.
