Your welcome to spend as much money as you want on a cue, but I think I should be able to find a cue for $700 or less that plays as good as any cue at any price. If you disagree, post why your $700+ cue will sink more balls and which cue you are referring to. Thanks.

One of my girl friends has a cue that fits that description. That cue plays great and has a very solid sweet hit. She recieved it as a gift. I couldn't find a brand on it. I told her it plays as good as some $800 cues I've had.

I'm not saying this is the case, but it's possible they have custom cues made to appear to be scorpion and Cuetec. Its fairly common with golf pros and golf clubs.

Hand Making A Better Lighter Than A BIC! I respect all cue makers, but it is sort of like purchasing thousands of dollars of equipment and practicing for years to attempt to make a better lighter than BIC. Congratulations if you get the analogy and sorry if you don't.

Did you purchase the HXT 4 with a 13mm shaft or the standard 12.75mm shaft? I haven't played the 12.75 yet.

I'd love to read your critique. Play the Balabushka and Helmstetter/HXT shaft side by side and also the Helmstetter with the original shaft side by side or of course alternating with the HXT shaft. I'm not sure what you will discover, but if you play the HXT enough to get used to the play and...
