Aramith Cleaner left balls with spots

ANY Cleaner that affects "the first few racks" and then returns to "normal" is moving residue on the balls to become residue on the table. Over time, that is not a good thing. Also, it requires compensation in aim and stroke to accommodate the changing condition of the balls. Consistency in...

My New J.Flowers J20-21 cue First Impressions

"A lot more"? Where is your scientific evidence for this? This is just my opinion, but I feel it is correct based on the physical properties of carbon fiber and wood... Honestly, to measure RELATIVE deflection between carbon fiber shafts under different brands is almost impossible. Even Dr...

My New J.Flowers J20-21 cue First Impressions

I was very unaware of this. The jflowescues.com site looks very legit, and the person I purchased from is a respected long standing business. The manufacturer should have at least sold the good products (unless the designs are also proprietary) and changed it to their own brand and name...

    Tony Stewart's house for sale

Yes, surprising money for the NASCAR level drivers with national sponsorship. My daughter taught Bill Elliot's daughter in school. The money volume was astonishing even back then. Sadly, the life style of the race scene with all of the drunks and filthy immorality of the fans and groupies is...

My New J.Flowers J20-21 cue First Impressions

It was listed in Ebay from Koinkid with an "or best offer" price. I contacted them through their FB page which is called "All About the Game Room" and ask what rheir best offer price would be if I buy direct from them. They gave me a very fair price. Well below retail. They seem to stock all...

My New J.Flowers J20-21 cue First Impressions

I agree, it is clearly the joint, and on a brand new cue, I hoped for better. It is certainly not worth sending back to the manufacturer for this, and I don't think warranty work is even readily available for these cues as they are Chinese made. If it were significant I would ask for a...

My New J.Flowers J20-21 cue First Impressions

This is the first cue I have bought in 20 years. I was, and am still satisfied with my beautiful, classic Viking custom F 50, but I wanted to experience a carbon fiber shaft. This is a classic, beautiful cue. J.Flowers JF20-21 with 12.5mm tip, 19 oz total weight, carbon fiber shaft. Zoom in...

Ive Never Heard Efren Reyes Give a Testimonial For a Pool Cue Before.

I posted a similar concern on the J.Flowers Member Group on FB. A person named Greg Hogue replied to my comment and said, "You are wrong LOL Efren was at my place playing and he made those comments" Although this is not the EXACT quote, it is the concept of what he said. He is either totally...

    Longgggg posts..................

I like to learn from other's experience. I don't mind reading a long post if it is coherent and I am interested in the topic. There are some posts, and posters that I have learned to skip as soon as I see their Avatar. As far as new or seasoned members, doesn't matter. Same rules apply to...

    The best pool balls

They play the same. Yes, of course you can see the ball spin better, but honestly, if I'm watching my shot as I should, the action on the ball is only visually interesting to the opponent or spectators IMHO. It can help when you are shooting for practice though.

What Non Traditional / Alternative Games and Sets Do You Enjoy and Play?

Wow! No, I did not. I even use the Eagle cue ball that came with the set. I cleaned all of the balls with Aramith cleaner before first use, and have had zero problems with them. Not even on the break line where the cue ball runs. I have older "Mali" cloth 21 oz and honestly it's pretty tough...

    Contact Information for KoinKid?

Thank you for the info. Actually looking for the specific seller mentioned in the thread title. Very nice cues, but out of my range for price.

    Contact Information for KoinKid?

I am thinking of purchasing a J.Flowers cue and see he sells on Ebay. Since he also seems to be a reputable dealer here, I hoped to contact him with some questions and maybe purchase direct. If anyone is in contact with him please let him know I sent him a private message here and to check in...

J Flowers Aspirant Series Cue -- any thoughts?

Bump? I first looked at their site just because I wanted to see what this cue was that Efren was talking about :-) It's a nice looking cue and I do not own a CF shaft / cue. On their site, the next level up for $588 is a VERY beautiful abalone inlay cue with the same CF shaft. It looks...

    Pool Ball Weights

I own Tournament Duramith, Centennials and Arcos II as well as SAP sets. I just absolutely see no difference at all with the only exception being the Arcos set cue ball is the best I have ever owned and even far superior to the duramith for not getting contact marks. I know many here disagree...
