That shot was my first inclination as well. When I couldn't make it, I started trying the other shots. I think this is the right shot, I just need to practice it more. Thanks to everyone for the good feedback.

I have less than 2 hours of table time with mine so far. It certainly gives a stiffer/more solid hit/feel than the OB-1, despite the smaller diameter. Squirt is quite minimal, as advertised. I still need more practice time with it before I will know if it will replace my standard Josey shaft.

Maybe try matching-up against people you don't like?
