    Doesn't Parica deserve more respect?

He was the top dog back in the Philippines and Efren was the second guy. If there is one match that defines a player for Efren it was the televised showdown between him and Jose for the glory. Efren won that showdown and never looked back. However, Jose is still ahead in head-to-head match-up...

    Reyes clearly the best ever

Hmm, that is only assuming Filipino carambole and balkline players in the 60's and 70's as sub-par players. "My best game is 15-ball rotation. After that comes carom (balkline). My weakest game is 9-ball." --Efren Reyes. I wouldn't bet against him even if he has no championship title in balkline.

    Reyes clearly the best ever

If I remembered it correctly in one of Effie's interviews, he said he stopped playing carom and balk line because no one wanted to play him anymore. Thus, his entry to the world of 9-ball.

Who is not at US Open?

LOL, I think once you showed her that it can be derailed, it will be done again. So I predict that you will be sleeping on the couch after US Open next year for going against her will. Har-har-har

I'm Starting to Hate "Kitchen" BIH in Bar

I know it's OK to intentionally scratch, but what most people don't see is the stupidity that can result with that intentional scratch and kitchen, 2 players having a scratching contest specially at the later part of the match. In a bar where other players are waiting just to shoot some pool...

I'm Starting to Hate "Kitchen" BIH in Bar

Well, I'm not really what you call a better player, (maybe the better player), but I'm usually the one that will kick and bank just to get things over with. I wouldn't do safe because he will just knock the cue ball back to the pocket specially when you are also not in a good shape from the...

I'm Starting to Hate "Kitchen" BIH in Bar

When you are just having a nice night in your local bar with 1 or 2 pool tables, from time to time you will find someone who will intentionally scratch without even trying to hit an object ball but just hitting the cue ball to the pocket. It's bound to ruin your night. I know you can just be as...

If those two buddies wanna play and not get laid for six months, let them. :D It's their lives. They probably have other motivation than getting better.

    Break Jump Cue

This might turn to another meaningless Physics rantings, but billbOK suggestion of using a lighter break cue than playing cue makes sense as you can accelerate a lighter break cue better. Just make sure you have a firm grip on the cue.

My best friend and I are currently engaged in a race to 5,000.

I hope not because this brings notoriety to the game. How do I put this; - When gambling is done by the elite by stakehorsing, it adds prestige to the game. - When gambling is done among people who should have been saving their money for something else, the game suffers.
