i agree with dick its none of those 3 woods. dick has seen alot of wood but i'm not so sure on pecan (i don't rememeber seeing pecan with black specs like that but i don't work with pecan that much). for me the clues are the grain, the black specs, and the color. the pics you have sure indicate...

hey randy, you have a 2hp but what kind (recip or oil less). the industry has changed on the way HP is marked on new compressors. wht you really need is the CFM for the jobs you need to do. give me a call, can help you out on this one.

thanks guys, it looks busy in the pic jim but it doens't when you have it in hand (think its just the way i took the pic). i'll try to push that envelope as best as the style will allow me, i don't do what the inlay guys do and they're tough competition :)
