Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I'm not disagreeing with you exactly but you said pocketing the ob is not his goal but if the ball goes into the pocket that "gage" means success. That seems contradictory. The problem is there are too many uncontrolled variables. In the down and back drill, aiming at a spot on the cushion or...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I guess I don't understand what you are doing. How is your method any different from setting up any random shot and hitting it over and over until you make it consistently?

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

OK. I watched both videos in their entirety and read all of your posts. I have some questions: The AimRight is integral to step 2. Without it there is no step 2. I think what you are doing is setting up, say, a 1/4 ball hit with the AimRight. There is a ghost ball outline on the AimRight...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

That's the other thing that irked me. You are assuming that what finally clicked for you is a problem for everybody and what you just discovered must be adopted universally. All of us have discovered something about our stroke that made things better and became an "aha" moment. It is great to...

Which requires everyone to buy your product. I haven't looked at it. Maybe it is something good.

    Full Rack Shots in 14.1

This is the most interesting pool video I have seen in a long time! I love the music at the end of each one. One nitpick... you said the carom shot at the end of video 1 was 6 out of 15 "40%" but the graphic on the screen shows 20%. Not critical. Thanks so much for the painstaking labor of love!

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

My criticism isn't just that you're selling a product. Several things kind of irk me: 1. You said in the video that you hadn't yet even tried step 3 aiming. Why not learn about what you are doing before making two videos and coming up with catchy names for everything? 2. I didn't know...

We can also ask the inventor if he has actually tried the steps in his own method (please see my latest post).

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I initially read your post quickly and got the distinct impression you were selling a three step method while saying you haven't even tried the third step. Now that I spent more time and watched some of your video I see what is going on. You are selling a product (the AimRight card) by coming...

You haven't learned how to aim accurately yet and you are already selling a system for it? Seems like you should master the subject first.

    Sharivari on aiming....

I wasn't talking about my curtain video. I was talking about the one you said you wouldn't watch because I made a snarky comment. It is in a link above. Yes, I placed the balls exactly how Stan did it in the video I was emulating. He lined the balls up with the diamonds. I was demonstrating...

    Sharivari on aiming....

CTE in this forum has pretty much always meant Stan. Much of the bad blood happens when some refuse to engage in an honest discussion of the science. I presented a video that, in my opinion, shows a pretty serious flaw in Stan's method. The reaction was mostly "it doesn't matter" (without...

    Sharivari on aiming....

Huh? How about this... go read the crap I had to put up with in that thread I linked to and then ask me if my snarky comment to you was out of line. I apologize if you turn out to be a rational CTE user but those, frankly, are few and far between. "Practical discussion" is rare in CTE world.

    Sharivari on aiming....

This was a 33 minute video IIRC that I edited down to 3 minutes without losing any content. It's about literally the only thing he said. Every ball he shot went dead center because he knows how to do that. This really was just a video for fun/exasperation if taken in context at the time...
