So, I'm trying to decide between PPB and ICATS?? They look pretty much like the same content and software but the PPB is 1/3 the cost. Any input would be appreciated.

Are your rails formica or wood? I have a Tech Black GC3 with formica rails. I've used rubbing compound, waxes, all the mild stuff. Non of these did anything. I'll be following to see what others have to recommend.

I am in no way a table mechanic, but I am thinking of a 2nd and 3rd nail, one below each nail that is already there. This, I think, would make the pocket liner more stable inside the opening and stop the "rocking" when a ball enters??? Just my thought.

I had an old magic rack that was worn out. I cut out two placement spots that where together to make a fairly accurate ghost ball indicator. Place the object ball in the spot closest to the pocket, lined up of course, and aim at the empty spot. It can be moved with ease to any shot you want.

I always thought that the joint protectors were made to stop the joint from getting knocked out of alignment if dropped. With the protector screwed tight into the butt or shaft material the pin stays solid if moderately compromised???

Segen cues were not out long enough for anyone to pick up an interest in them. Evan made them for only about a year I believe and no one associates a Segen as an Evan cue. Evan will forever be remembered for his Shon cues.

Yes, I grew up at our local YMCA in the late 60's. I remember purchasing a one piece aluminum cue from them for $7 or $8. They came in red or green. I really wouldn't mind finding one of those.

The pictures show a nice looking cue. I can see why you wanted to keep it "clean".
