I play snooker (American rules), snooker (English rules), 9-ball, 8-ball, rotation, and cut-throat on my snooker table. I get some funny rolls on slowly hit balls on the rack end of the table, so I haven't played one pocket or straight pool on it. I prefer playing with the bigger balls...

I've found that for me, I need to pay closer attention to where the pocket is for the first half hour or so of playing on a larger or smaller table. Instead of feeling where the pocket is, I need to actually look at the angle, path, and contact point to make sure I'm hitting where I need to to...

Did Malarkey's (City Lights) jettison theirs? I drove all the way up there to play one time and they were having a tournament with all the paraphenalia for the tournament laid out on the snooker table. Very disappointing. It's the only one I've ever seen that actually had napped cloth on it...
