Eye movement question? Cue or Object last?

I always believed until recently that you had to look at the object ball last, but a few really great players look at the cueball last. I do believe that your eyes need to be motionless and focused on the same spot for the majority of shots. When I play one handed I am looking at the cueball...

105 ball run after 15 years of attempts!

Thank you Scott! One of my best friends told me about the triangle pattern he heard John Schmidt talking about for straight pool the day before and I finally understood how to run the last half of the rack. Last night I ran a 60 and a 73 in the same game, this pattern recognition really works!

    newspaper article about me

I would have loved to see him play. I got to play Ronnie Allen one pocket one handed 10 years ago in vegas at Pool Sharks, it was a dream come true. Do you know why they called him geese? I put my hand behind my back because otherwise its just kind of flopping out to the side, I think its just...

pointers Thanks. I've only started posting and doing videos 1 month ago. If you were talking about pointers for one handed....The best advice I can give is to lock your elbow and swing the cue using just your shoulder, it's much more accurate that way. Hold the cue slightly behind the balance...

    Question about my stroking.

different strokes If you find yourself starting to jump up I would raise the chin up a few inches, otherwise it's great for aiming. Don't get locked into the idea your chin needs to be on the cue for every shot. A power shot may require you to raise up some. I've been playing with my chin on...

105 ball run after 15 years of attempts!

recording no recording unfortunately. It makes me want to record one though. I had my last 98 ball run on camera a few months ago. I had given up on a 100 ball run and was only doing one handed stuff. Now the passion for a high run is back!
