giving up big spot in one pocket

thrown out he playbook! I've spotted people as much as 14-1 in onepocket and a method I like to use is putting them in a spot where they have to take an intentional foul or the chance of them fouling is high. Examples are passing up makeable shots in the beginning to freeze them to the rack as...

    lessons?

if you can't find a teacher close to you another great way is to video tape yourself breaking from several angles, upload it and a teacher can watch it and they can make a personalized video response showing you what to improve on. With the power of the internet, vimeo and youtube I think video...

How did you get your nickname?

When I had hair, the nickname was predator. When I shaved my head it was cueball, which became Q after I won about 20 tournaments in a row. Some people call me Charlie Brown now, not sure why. Yes, that's my real hair, my parents were hippies.

    Fun and Frustrating practice game

you've got to learn to enjoy the mental anguish of setbacks like that. I've been trying an insanely tough drill for about two weeks now, several hours a night. After a few thousand times failing I realized it was more exciting than competing in the finals of a tournament. Each time I restarted...

    Fun and Frustrating practice game

that's a great way to do it because you're adding pressure so you're practicing similar to how it would feel in competition. moving down a ball will be painful and motivate you even more to focus. very cool

    Fun and Frustrating practice game

I don't know whether to thank you or curse you for sharing this drill. I'm going to try to get through to the end doing it one-handed on camera. Good thing my school break is coming up, I may need about 5 hours a night to get this done. Awesome practice drill, thanks for the idea!

Thinking about the 9 on the break

I imagine several things are involved with it. The first is selective memory, you dismiss the times you're thinking of it happening and it doesn't, when there's an imperfection in the rack and the odds line up for a few in a row you have a distinct memory that leaves you believing it happens...

she started the trash talking first!

That's my goal, to see how good a person can get by focusing exclusively on one-handed play. It surprises me also when I can be so accurate with a cue tip floating out there unabridged. After the next six months of practice I really believe it's possible that I'll be able to move the cueball...

what??!! I've got three reasons why you're not getting weight from me. 1. you're playing two handed. 2. you're a champion 3. I'll be so nervous from the bet that I'll be lucky to run two in a row and a freebie 4. everyone who ever said that has started the match by running 6 racks in a row...

    Handsome Men in pool

combining the stress of managing a condom company and being addicted to one-pocket will do that to a person

my timing is great, just woke up from a two hour nap to find your message. Maybe I should go back to sleep if you're actually going to challenge me! I might need a few more days of practice now that there's going to be a real match...I'd agree to risking that for an order of cheese fries and one...

You losing a buck, even to someone else always brings me joy! :grin-loving: I've been practicing one-handed for a few hours a night, I think I'm ready for a challenge match against you on camera. You can make bets on the outcome of the video later to get your dollar back.
