Q claw

I have the Q-Claw, the Kamui cue holder, and the Q-Clip. Each of them has their advantages and drawbacks. My all around favorite is the Q-Clip. It clips on the table and holds your cues in a dense foam ring area that pretty much prevents any accidents unless you pull on the cue to pop it out...

Finally somebody developed a microchip for cues

The one point I am unclear on regarding the pawn shop issue - do they attempt to scan everything that comes into their possession? If that's the case and they would find it on their own that would seem to be a good deal. If they only would scan it if a claim was made, that really reduces the...

A question for you creative/engineer/inventor types...

I was thinking rather than having something that stuck 'up' from his wrist, instead rig up something like the bowling wrist support with an extension out along his hand so that when he rested his wrist and hand on the table the bridge would also be on the table - much more stable that way. You...

    Funny pic/gif thread...

My Google Fu is strong - it actually makes sense....barely: The girl in the cheese dress was participating in this year's GISHWHES (the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen) for the following item: #34: [IMAGE] Calendar item: Wear cheese and wear it well. You cannot be...

    Funny pic/gif thread...

Reminds me of an old horrible joke, but appropriate here... What's the difference between the Rolling Stones and a group of Scotsmen? The Rolling Stones say 'Hey you, get off of my cloud'...while the Scotsmen say 'Hey McCloud! Get off of my ewe!'

    Commentary for Earl/SVB Final

Archer and Shaw commentating the final match between Earl and SVB has to be some of the most entertaining stuff I have seen in a while on a stream. Shaw was a little biased, but that added to the entertainment, and Archer encouraged him as much as possible. In addition, Archer told a gem of a...

    Simple Trick Shots?

Here is a fun and simple one that you only occasionally hit yourself with  [/IMG] Just hit the cue ball firmly into the short rail with high to high left and it will jump off the rail and run into the 1-9 at the other end.

Does an Online Seller Have to offer a Satisfaction Guarantee??

I wonder if this could almost be separated into 2 subsets as it seems like most of the arguments are falling on these sides. #1: New, unhit, 'collectors' cues - you are buying these not to play with them, but to invest/collect/admire/hang on the wall. Hit most likely is not an issue, however...

Shot clocks at The Southern CLassic!!!

I agree with a chess like clock for one pocket. Have the tournament organizers choose what they think is the longest they would like a single game of 1P to go and divide that by 2. This will be the total time usable during a game by each player. You run out of time? You foul, your opponent...

    Girl Prodigy???

I played in a fundraising tournament for April to get her to Qatar. Nicest girl you could ever meet, and everyone in her family was great and ran a great tournament. As a fun way to get money, she was playing 7 ball for 5 bucks a game - you got the break and shot even on a dry break - if you...

    Funny pic/gif thread...

There is an outfit here in Minneapolis that rents those out with a driver in the summer. I've never looked into the cost but it includes the beer and you get to pedal around downtown. I was more intrigued by the remote controlled mobile beverage cooler advertised at the bottom of the page.

Bizarre league situation, how would you handle?

A similar situation with a very important difference happened to me in league play. My opponent and I started the match and in the second rack I broke and ran until I scratched while shooting at the last ball before the 8. My opponent was not paying any attention to the match, standing with his...

    What is this?

Wasn't there a thread here a couple months ago about someone looking for that cue or one very close to it? Without the logo of course. It seems familiar.

    Last Pocket 8 Ball

We would play 8 ball bank last pocket just so we didn't have to put money in the bar table every 5 minutes. I would never play it with someone I didn't think capable of playing it - at that point just take their money playing the regular way :)

Proposing new rack and ball rules...........

    1) Either a neutral racker or 20-30 second time limit for racking (your own or your opponents) 2) No touching the racked balls after the rack is removed. 3) Alternating breaks 4) In the case of a hill-hill match, either through alternating break and runs or just even solid play the final rack...
