Right now I have said goodbye to layered tips, It all about techno duds for me. Once broken in the tip is just amazing, will be trying kitech medium hard and hard next. the medium was way to spongy, I cant imagine the medium soft or soft. The Dud is amazing, holds shape, chalk retention is...

    New Tiger 'Fortis' cf shaft......

I wonder is this the same material ferrule that their new tiger ice breaker tip is made of, same orange in color I think. Interesting enough people tend to like this bown/yellow/orange or even creamy color when is comes to micarta used on wood shafts, but that's a different story, people may...

    Chalk dust

Taom is kinda of strange in that way, Ive had some miscue problems but very little, I just make sure I chalk regularly and I get plenty of grip and spin. I also play with a non layered tip right now. Not nearly as many miscue and glazing problems if any...

    Chalk dust

Never had that happen, but I use to use masters and I was cleaning the table a lot, and the balls. I switched to Taom pyro, I never will go back, at least at the house lol. Masters is great just more messy than Taom, with Taom the ball stays clean and so does the table. Ive heard great...

Does a Firmer Grip Maximize or Diminish Feel and Touch for the Cueball?

Firmer grip here but have experimented, if I'm in dead stroke then I can lighten up on the back swing but firmer up towards the fallow through.

Questions about switching to carbon fiber

My recommendation is go back to the tip of your choice you've been enjoying, and then start back at center ball! Only up and down axis then, after comfortable with the shot line with the small diameter, start applying very little English ( right and left ) until you get more comfortable! That...

    Soft KI-Tech on Ignite

I would look into this, especially if it sounds like a sticky sound on contact instead of a solid ping. As simple and looking closely at the tip and try to pretty the tip off with your thumb, rotate it and see if it lifts on one side or just pops off. Hope this helps.

    43 to old to start?

Defiantly not! love and enjoy the game! If you find yourself not enjoying the apa, or league for that matter, then stop. The importance is enjoying yourself while doing something you love, sometimes tournaments, leagues, or gambling can take that enjoyment away for some.

Ferrule replacement on cabon fiber shaft

Tape with blue painters tape a couple times around where the chuck contacts the shaf, this works plenty well for me and I have done plenty of work on carbon fiber shafts, do not over tighten.
