    SVB's world titles

I wasn't claiming it is a world Championship. Only that it's a singles event. In my opinion the World Championship is the most prestigious title there is. Second is probably the US Open. For sure there is no comparison in prestige between those two and the world pool masters. I would really...

    Stop with the cue pointing!!!!!!!

Oh. I suppose I do that sometimes. I often show myself the line of the shot of the next ball with my cue to make sure I will land on the right side of it. Any visual information I can give myself can be very helpful at times. I guess my position on the matter is "who cares?" I can never...

    Stop with the cue pointing!!!!!!!

What do you mean "pointing"? I point my cue through the cueball at the place I'm aiming as I step into the shot. I also often point my cue through the back of the object ball at the pocket. Both situations help me to draw an imaginary line with my mind. Is that what you mean? KMRUNOUT...

    Changing Mezz WD700 Ferrule to?

Yes it makes sense. However it sounds like you have an issue with your current shaft/ferrule. My experience is that Mezz cues, especially a WD700, hits very solid. Maybe they can look at your whole cue and fix or replace whatever is wrong. KMRUNOUT

    Tip shape

Not really. Aside from cutting or otherwise shaping the tip, chalking habits are the #1 factor in your tips shape by a mile. KMRUNOUT Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    Turning Stone Classic XXX

Actually Lou, I went to Brickhiuse specifically because it was quiet and empty...perfect to get some practice in on beautiful tables. Practice was not an option at Salt City. KMRUNOUT Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    Changing Mezz WD700 Ferrule to?

What effect are you trying to achieve? Different hit? More/less squirt? Secret compartment to hide drugs? There a lot of questions that would help offer direction. If your goal is to simply try something different, then I'd probably just get a different tip. KMRUNOUT Sent from my...

Tony Layne / Hanshew Jump Cue Selection

I have the standard tip on my Jacoby, which I believe is G10. I put a Hammerhead on someone else's Jacoby and it was amazing. Probably better. KMRUNOUT Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    Turning Stone Classic XXX

I practiced at that place the night before the last Turning Stone. It was great. Tables were ideal for TS practice. They have a tourney at the new salt city as well I believe. I'll be out there again, I'm playing. Finished 1 out of the cash my last 2 times. Hope to cash this time...

Tony Layne / Hanshew Jump Cue Selection

I've tried Tony layne and hanshew. I currently have a Jacoby and am extremely happy with it. It can jump really close up with dart method, but still good for longer jumps because I have the one with the extension handle. I have not tried anything that was convincingly better. That said...

    What ball set to get

I'd probably get the Aramith Super Pro set with a measle cue ball. I'd want to match the set I'm most likely to use in most serious tournaments. It's the pro standard for a reason (well ok, for a variety of reasons). KMRUNOUT Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    Chaning to a fast cloth

860HR is plenty fast for an 8' or any table really. Plus it should last a very long time in home use. Get tournament blue and don't look back! KMRUNOUT Sent from my iPhone using AzBilliards Forums

    E-Grip pool cue holder review

Thereby eliminating a lot of space on the table that you share with your opponent. No offense to you, but I always find this method a bit obnoxious, especially if the quarters are already cramped and you both have some small items you need to put on the table, drinks, etc. Just get a 2 way...

    Follow or Draw?

That only concerns me when I'm trying for really maxed out draw. Which almost never comes up in a game. If I have a ball at one end of the table and I have my next ball on the opposite end rail, with ball in hand I'd almost always choose draw. I feel less likely to miss, and 6-8 feet of draw...
