Actual Brunswick Gold Crown iii vs Brunswick Centurion review

I recently bought a 06' 8ft Pro Centurion & had it set up. The K55 rails are in great shape and slate was perfect. (One owner original). Still had original Brunswick Cloth. (Swapped top Andy's 988) I'm very pleased with my table & I love the looks of it. I have never owned a GC, but have played...

    Best template rack?

I have owned both the Magic Rack & Outsville Accu-rack. I currently use the Accu-rack. (Aramith Super Pro's) 8, 9 & 10 Ball. It's super tight. And yes sometimes when I break center 8 stays near its spot after. (Which is a good sign it's doing a good job) As far as the break goes I'm I don't...

    Best cloth for home table

Andy's 988 is great! It's slightly faster then simonis but plays great. I know WY tournaments prefer this cloth, not sure about other areas.

    Carbon Fiber Shaft Poll

Keep reading after the original post.... it was not intentional & couldn't be edited. Several others were also left out that I had intended. I didn't know there was a limit, or that that section couldn't be edited once launched. (But it make sense why..) either way the whole idea was just to...

    Carbon Fiber Shaft Poll

I've always heard the butt doesn't play as much of a role in the "Hit" of a cue other then balance point, weight, grip diameter. Here is yet ANOTHER player stating it's significant for this cue as a whole! Great info, thank you for sharing!

Do-Over... Starting a Pool Hall Fresh - WWYD?

Fair... Guess that is why every room is closing, and there are few and far between "New" rooms opening. So.. can it be fixed? what would that take? Will ALL places to play pool be reduced to bars only eventually? What is a current example of a Pool Hall being successful?

Do-Over... Starting a Pool Hall Fresh - WWYD?

For Conversation sake... Lets say you had a blank check to build a Pool Hall and set it up ANYWAY you want it, any town or location, any size. It would need to make money and sustain itself, it would need to promote the sport and host Med-Large tournament events. Past that, your call. Booze, no...

    Carbon Fiber Shaft Poll

Yeah, it limited me on Options and I wasn't aware it was going to do that, it was on my list. I'll try and bump another to get it added if it will allow me to edit Poll Options.

    Carbon Fiber Shaft Poll

Hey AZB, With SOOOOOO Many CF Shaft makers now, I wondered if players are sticking to the OG's or if there are contenders on the market that perhaps just haven't gotten the word out yet. I've read a lot of other posts. Just wanted to consolidate info into a recent thread. If you don't see the...

    How much to recover table?

I recently had my table done. Locally - $350 for labor + Felt. (8ft Pro). Felt could be $300-$395 for Simonis 860HR if your able to get it locally jump on it since there is currently a shortage due to factory issues. I actually went with Andy's 988. I really like it, it does play a bit faster.
