I recomend a hair over 4 1/2. But sometimes it's not the tightness of the pockets, it's the angle of the faceings. Please get someone knowledgeable to do the table so the rubber hieght is right and don't shim the pockets. Cut the rubbers to the right length instead of adding a bunch of shims.
