I've never liked the 314 shafts. Tried them several times, and I felt the hxt felt much better.

I will never play with another cue. My third Josey and perfect for me.

The sheet was used, so most of the chemical smell was off. It's softer after the use, but still did a great job of absorbing the odors. And yes, I do burnish the shaft with it, but besides doing a great job of removing sticky residue, I haven't noticed any other effects to the shaft.

Just wanted to follow up about this. Tried everything I could think of and the suggestions that were mentioned. However, what did the trick was placing a scented dryer sheet in my case. After a few days, the smell was gone. Plus, it works well with b urnishing the shaft.

Selling my mint condition back up Josey shaft. Right around 12.6mm and 3.8 oz. Radial joint and soft Kamui tip. Used for about half an hour when I got the cue in January and it's been sitting in my case ever since. No dings and virtually no bluing. Asking $120 obo shipped.
