Rodeo is huge all over the US and is a major draw at virtually any venue. Pool would be lucky to pull 1/10 the crowd a rodeo even does each show.

It's a good idea for pool, but not tv. Watching pool is something 99% of viewers don't care for. Heck, the vast majority of league players, whom the billiards industry survives through, and play multiple days a week get bored watching others play. TV pool does not translate to the masses and...

No doubt, really going to miss this place when I move soon. One of the best in the land- great layout and great tables. Also, really fun on gamedays too and they have a nice environment to watch sports, but doesn't interfere with the players.

So if the APA leagues seem like a bad option, do you guys recommend in-house leagues or weekly tournaments? If so, where?

Moving to the area within a month, and wanted to know the best places to play. Interested in some sort of weekly leagues and tournaments. I'll be moving there by myself and need something to do occasionally at night. Suggestions?

Please let us know when you do correct the changes, cause the video is also unwatchable on my computer. Pauses every 5 seconds, and Netflix, Youtube, and others work perfectly for me.

Just a quick comment, or question rather, but will the players have mics? One of the things I think that has made TV poker a success is that they have audio of the discussions and is often encouraged for the players to somewhat "talk smack" between hands. I know that's usually frowned upon...

What network would show this? This would be interesting for pool fans, but the average viewer would be bored. Ask yourself, would you watch the exact same concept if it was bowling instead? I wouldn't...

Sandbagging doesn't belong in league play. If you've moved up, either play better or if you can't handle the weight you give your opponent, quit. Tons of players have a hard time with the handicapped leagues, but learn to deal with it or don't play at all.
