Both the Ikons and Blak series have the C4 technology. I've owned 3 predator cues that have the C4 and they all hit the same to me. 2 friends of mine have Predator Blak cues and they felt the same as the Ikons and 5k serie cues that I owned. I definately didn't see an increase in cue power...

I have a uni~loc purpleheart break shaft that I no longer need. The shaft was made by Ryan from Rat Cues. The shaft is 14mm with a black collar. The tip is a one piece brown phenolic. $50 shipped in CONUS.

I forgot where I read it, but Jim Rempe says if you just do the brainwashing drill and nothing else for a period of weeks you will learn to see patterns of 3 shots very quickly. I suppose it's a great drill for 8 ball or 14.1

I don't think LD shafts have risen the level of play. I do think LD shafts are the reason alot more people are playing at a Pro Level.
